Regulatory Property – The Transforming Notion of Property and Regulation in Transnational Business
28. Mai 2015
International Expert Workshop
“Property” has become a fuzzy institution. Novel proprietary rights have emerged which do not neatly fit traditional definitions. The pressures of globalization render national doctrinal concepts to merge, states instrumentalize property as policy tool, firms employ property to control their international production chains. These developments call for a reflection of property as a modern societal institution in a world where borders become fluent and markets search for novel forms of embeddedness and transparency.
